Sacred Campfire Chats offer the profound opportunity of sitting together, even remotely, with others and allowing the powerful medicine of fire to transform our being. There is deep listening available, and a place to be truly heard.

Why Fire? 
The sacred element of fire has a long history of partnership with humankind and has supported us over millennia, to hear our heart’s voice and connect with the natural world, guiding us towards a life of balance in the natural world. In our culture many of us are more familiar with listening to the sound of our mind and have largely lost connection with our heart’s wisdom. Sitting at the fire rekindles our ability to hear our heart voice and unlocks the joy of the heart experience. When such joy unlocks, the rapport we feel with others easily increases and becomes a source of great nourishment. When we attend a consecrated fire we are receiving something special by way of warmth, healing, heart opening, community deepening and transformation. 

Sacred fires open sacred space, generating healing and transformation for those present. Everyone is welcome, including those from all other traditions, or no tradition.

Vivian Menjivar will begin each ceremony by making offerings to the fire. It is an exchange and gratitude for the fire’s gifts to us. When we consecrate the fire in this way, we participate in a timeless ritual that opens sacred space for deep healing, transformation, connection, and joy.
